DAV University, Jalandhar, organized a Badge Ceremony on September 16, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. onwards at the Mahatma Hans Raj Auditorium. The event was organized by the Student Welfare Department to honour and recognize students taking up various leadership and institutional responsibilities. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Karnal NS Cheema and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Monaj Kumar.
The ceremony began with the NCC contingent being invited onto the stage. The NCC students were hosted by Jasmine Kaur and were honoured with their respective badges by the dignitaries. Arshdeep Singh, Senior Under Officer (NCC), along with Tanvi, Sahil, Vishvjeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Twinkle, Divyansh, Amandeep Singh, Mehak, Gurbaaj, Kashvi, Rajveer Singh and Piyush Pathania, were among the students honoured during the ceremony.
Students representing various departments, including CBMA, Chemistry, Law and Legal Studies, Mathematics, Engineering, CSA, B.Tech, B.Sc., Microbiology, Education, Physics, Civil Engineering, Psychology, CSC, English, Electrical Engineering, Humanities, Journalism and Mass Communication, Agriculture and Biotechnology, also participated in the ceremony.
Representatives of several university clubs, including NCC, NSS, Music Club, Dance Club, Fashion Club, Drama Club, Artist Club and Pharmacy Club, were also honoured. The ceremony celebrated student participation, leadership and responsibility across the university.
The event concluded on a positive note, leaving the students motivated to contribute actively to university life and fulfil their responsibilities with dedication.
